family members and in laws

My boyfriends mom has helped me a ton since i have been pregnant. she keeps making comments about how i wont know how to do much when the baby is born. She also says that she will be the one to take care my baby. I feel like she is trying to do what i should be doing...I do want her help but I want to make decisions for my baby too! i do appreciate everything she has done but I dont know how to talk to her. Another problem i have is that my boyfriends lil brother is two and also very jealous.He is close with my BF but when he gets near me his lil brother starts throwing a tantrum. crying and yelling. he sometimes even hits and not just with his hands any toy that is around gets thrown. I dont like to yell but he drives me crazy. i am afraid that he is going to hit my baby when she is born. My boyfriend scolds his brother but his mom says that it isnt a big deal. I think that she may think it is funny that her son gets so worked up.

Just sit her down and explain how you feel... I talked with my mom yesterday about what's going to happen when I'm at the hospital and how I should tell my boyfriends mom I don't want her in the room cause that's just awkward, but she also has the tendency to tell me what I can and shouldn't do when she comes and everything and it's really annoying, drives me nuts... She's one of those people you love, but you hate her at the same time

Yea, my boyfriends a bit immature, but, ya know, guys don't mature til they're like 25 so I deal with it but his brothers are so disrespectful I would seriously shoot myself if I had to grow up with them... One of them is lucky I haven't put sexual harrassment charges on his ass!! Sad, but true... He treats women like they're property... His other brother is abusive and thinks he's king of the world and noone can take him down and the whole world revolves around him... And his mom just puts up with it... No wonder the woman's depressed... And outside of his immediate family they're all disgusting perverts... I sometimes feel ashamed that I have to bring my daughter into this family

ew gross!!!!!!!!!!! yeah my husband and i decided to not talk to his side of the family anymore. they don't even know i'm pregnant!! funny huh?

Wow, that's sad... I wish I could not talk to his side, but, unfortunately, until I finish school in March we're stuck living with them... It's depressing, but I have a feeling once we get our own place we'll be ok cause then I don't have to put up with them everyday... But, ya know, I try not to complain too much cause I don't want to hurt my SO's feelings with how much I hate his family... If she did a better job at raising them it probably wouldn't be such a big deal
