wanna lose 15-20 pds by xmas

ok so im going to be 6 mth pp nov 11th. im down to 140. ive lost 6o pds since i gave birth may 11th. im going out of town for christmas/new yrs to visit my so family. ive been workin out6-7 days a wk lately bt ive realized when i take a day or 2 off of workin out i actually lose a pd or 2 in less then 3 daysi guess it tricks my body, i know the healthiest way to lose weight is keep eating healthy and working out but is it possible to lose 20 pds in 2 mths. that would be about 10 pds a mth. i wanna look really good when i go out of town some of chays family have only seen me when i was pregnant which means they have only seen me swollen with a huge belly so i really wanna lose the weight quickly.

i now inches means alot more and im continuing on losing it but whats a quicker way i wanna lose it by xmas. ill take a 15 pds loss also. is it possible if i only eat mostly veggies, some lean protein, some fruit, nuts and only water that it will really speed the weight loss up. i do have cheat days usually on saturdays and sundays. ill eat healthy the entire week but ill have 1 item on one of those days and that keeps me sane but im going to try to go the entire 2 mths without extra sweets/fat just fruit. so if any ladies have any quick ways to lose the weight by xmas just let me know. im allready living a healthy lifestyle i just wanna lose 15-20 pds before i go out of town.

What's the smallest you've been? 10 lbs a month is kind of a tall order, especially if you're not naturally that size..

5 lbs a month is more healthy and realistic IMO.

People say 2.5lbs a week is helthy
im trying to lose 10-15 by x-mas im going to see my family to and gettine married jan1

It depends on your size.

2.5lbs a week is good for someone who needs to lose 60+lbs. I recently lost 65lbs and the closer I got to my goal, the less I'd lose a week. I can still lose 2lbs a week, because I have another 50ish pounds to go (on hold until after my pregnancy) until my goal weight.

I agree that 5lbs a month is a bit more realistic, maybe 10lbs.

i was 118 when i first got preggo with daughter highest ive ever been before pregnancy was 130s and i only got that big b/c i gained alot of weight off birth control. my late and bad eating habits and not being fit after highschool since i stayed active and athletic all through school. ive never been big, but to be 120 is not a huge stretch for me bc ive been small my entire life. i just had 2 kids 14 mths apart and got up to 200 pds. i know ill be down to 115-120 by may when my son turns 1 but id like to be 120-125 by time i go to nyc for the holidays.

hahahaha awesome. i think the smaller i get the harder it is going to lose the weight. i kno i can do it but i feel like ill be miserable not eating any junk food at all for 2 mths. i live for my cheatdays. i love to workout sometimes i workout 7 days a wk so im trying to only go 5-6 days now b/c my body needs a break. how much do u weigh now?

I think ill be happier to lose alot of inches more then anythings thats what makes u look good but i guess ill try to lose maybe 10-12 pds instead which will be alot easier, i figured 20 that soon would be a lil hard.

Do you do intervals when you work out?.. That will make your workouts way more effective!.. I always do the interval program on the elliptical at the gym and I've lost 20 pounds since August -- I also just started doing Jillian Michaels' 30 day shred last week and it is supposed to work wonders

yeah i do intervals. i do taebo, core excercises, dancing at home, lift weights, i look up new workouts online and fitness magazines, squats, lunges, deadlifts im a fitness freak and i eat very healthy too. its just the smaller i get the harder it is to lose weight, ive cut my calories down to 1000 a day now which is helping b/c im losin more inches. i dont ever eat over 1200-1500 a day anyhow and only 1500 on a cheat day bt 1200 on a daily basis.i just wana look really good when i go to nyc end of dec.ill try to change my routines up n eat alot more veggies n have no cheat days.

i was 260 got down to 140 in 2 years then after my baby i went up to 214 and got down to 160 by 3 months then lost 10 more after bf
i think it all depends on how hard you work for it ...
i mean when i wor my ass of i can lose 3lbs in a week and im normal size

If you are only consuming 1000 calories a day it might be ruining your metabolism. If you don't get enough calories your body tries to hold on to as much energy as it can, so your workouts won't be as effective.. I would try to keep it around 1200.

It sounds like you are working out really hard.. Maybe you've hit a plateau?.. Just try switching up your routines like you said and hopefully that will help!.. My goal is to weigh 130 by the new year so I am also hoping to lose another 20 pounds because I weigh 150 right now. It's going to be hard with the holidays coming up!
