Ugh Not So Sure

Ok so me and my SO recently started really thinking of names. We had a few we liked before I got pregnant but we arent so sure anymore. His name is Maxwell so he wants to have his name in there somewhere...boy or girl. He suggested Maxine for a girl. I dont like it at all.

I suggested Alexandra Maxine Lewis if he really really loved Maxine. Do you think that sounds ok? I mean I dont like Maxine but if he will settle using it as a middle name I can live with it. Any opinions?

I like the name alexandra alot and using maxine as a middle name would be a compromise for both of you i think.

I really like that name.. Alexandra Maxine.. its pretty!

Alexandra Maxine is spectacular. You could go ultra-luxurious and go with Maximiliana.

yeah thats true. when i mentioned it he smiled but kept saying Maximus...Maxine...Maximillion. Just naming random things. So im not sure if he likes it or not.   men.

you think so? i think its cute. i wanted Alexandra Rose Lewis because my middle name is Rose but I can tell he really wants his name in there somewhere so Im hoping he likes Alexandra Maxine.

Why not!? It's so luxurious, underused and beautiful! Maxine, while lovely, seems dated. Maximiliana, while long, has a more modern edge to it. Just a suggestion. Alexandra is so classy and regal, I adore her.

I dont know why but I just dont like any girl names that begin with Max. I never have but since he loves it I will give it a try. Maximiliana is definitely a mouthful. lol

For a boy we were thinking Darian Maxwell Lewis. Or Darius Edward Lewis. He isnt sure if he wants a Jr. yet so were still working on it.

My SO's name is Maxwell Edward Lewis. Any suggestions?

Yeah, it's not exactly the most feminine sound in the world, lol. I loved Max names for my son, but my SO kept putting his foot down. I Now have a Caleb instead.

Either way, I still love Alexandra, Maxine and Maximiliana, lol.

I wasnt sure if you guys would like it. I read a lot of the names people post on here and they get a lot of negative feedback. Im glad we have good taste lol

I adore Maxwell, but Edward is fantastic too. Darian is nice and Darian Maxwell flows nicely. Darian Edward does too, but if he's set on a Max name, then I would stick with Darian Maxwell.

Definitely, lol. See, BG aggravates me with it's lack of taste most of the time. I see some of the most horrid, overly trendy, misspelled crap I have ever seen in my life on here. I just jump on them and tell them my opinions. I know a lot of people don't like what I have to say, but if it saves the world from another little BryLee or Addisyn, then my work is worth it, lol.

I love Darian Maxwell but he isnt sure if he wants a Jr yet. I would really rather the baby have his own name but I will see what he says. We still have a long way to go .
