Quoting Trisha44:“ well ladies i just got my call back from the nurse she said my u/s showed that my gallbladder is full ... [snip!] ... ladies that got urs out.... was it same day surgery that u went home? or did u have to stay? no im not breastfeeding btw.”I had mine removed in may of 2005, when my daugher was 4 months old I suffered for FOUR months. It sucked. I lost 37lbs, putting me down to 94lbs after having Mackenzie. I couldnt eat anything but water bananas and rice. The surgery hurt. It was laproscopic, three small incisions. One on my side, one above my bellybutton and one in the middle of my stomach. I got to go home that day but couldnt move right for a week. I had to walk hunched over. My stomach was a brusised mess and the gas they used on my insides hurt so bad. After all was said and done a few weeks after surgery, I felt 100%. No more stones or attacks at all. Its been 4 years almost and no issues except if I eat anything fat/greasy, I get awful diahhrhea.....
Quoting Trisha44:“ so with those small insicions they can take the gallbladder out? thats weird... so after all ur ladies ... [snip!] ... again? (thats my biggest thing that bothers me) did u have more attackts? how long after surgery did u stay in the hospital?”
Quoting MommytoKenz,Lily,&Harlow:“ I hate cheese soo ? I left that day, same day surgery. And zero more attacks.”
Quoting Trisha44:“ ok well pork chops? lmao... whatever it was that u couldnt eat before u got it removed can u eat now?”
Quoting MommytoKenz,Lily,&Harlow:“ yes but if it is fatty i get really bad diahrrhea. ive heard that is common after having it removed.”
Quoting Trisha44:“ goodness id MUCH rather have that than these stupid attacks... thank u for answering my questions. it means a lot to me ”
Quoting HappyBDAYsuprise:“ This will amaze you: About 4 days postpartum, I was home alone and had to call my friend a few houses ... [snip!] ... decided I can't diet until the gallbladder comes out. Right now I just watch what I eat. I only lost 13lbspp. ”
