It *may* be the very early onset of labor... things to look for:

--Steady contractions coming at regular intervals
--Your mucous plug / bloody show

Good luck

Well thats a good sign!   Glad to hear that. I lost mine over a period of like 3 days. Try to do some walking, it might help things along. And sex as well. Semen carries prostaglandins which will help ripen up your cervix

Its probably a prelude to it. Once the contractions start getting regular for a longer period of time then you're there.

Yeah, thats what i was saying too. She is waiting for her daddy - but idk the contractions are a little intense and are 7 minutes apart. L&D dont want me to come in until my water breaks or they are 2-4 minutes apart. I have another question, i heard that when you bounce on a exercise ball that the babies head will engage in your pelvis, so does it go for bouncing on a bed too?

Yes, a bed is just as good as a ball, but it doesnt necessarily engage their head, it is more or less as a coping technique for contractions (works wonders actually!)

Lol, i might go try bouncing for a while, because these contractions are intense, and i can see they are only going to get worse! Im trying to go all natural at that, did you go totally natural?

Oh no, I got an epidural...haha. I was induced with my daughter because I had pre-eclampsia. And with pre-e its not really that safe to be pregnant. So I was hooked up to an IV line of pitocin which is artificial oxytocin (which the body produces naturally) to start contractions. Pitocin induced contractions are harder, faster & more painful than regular contractions. By 5 cm I was all done with the pain, I asked for an epi. An hour later my daughter was born

Oh, lol. They said i am at risk for pre-eclampsia. It made me very nervous, so if she wants to come out now, by all means let her! lol. I heard of pitocin and i heard its also not so fun. Your daughter is gorgeous by the way !

Yeah, its a harsh drug. Has your BP been elevated? My pre-e popped up randomly at 37 weeks & I was induced at 39 even.

Awww thanks   Shes a crazy toddler but super fun to be with. I love the name Isabella by the way, I am hoping to have another girl in my lifetime and her name will be Isabella as well, but we and we are just going to call her Bella
