Both? I'm getting Ellie one in like 2 weeks. She is a very good supported sitter & I think it will work well for her for at least a few minutes at a time.

Both, but I wouldn't put an unsupported sitter in it. It just does not look like it's good for their backs and necks D;

My daughter is 13 weeks and can't sit up on her own and is learning how to hold her head up. It has been helping her with both actually.

It's really good for a baby's back, they have won awards.

Yes it is actually very good for their backs because the seat is lower than where the leg openings are and so it is good for their lumbar area and it helps to assist in spinal development

I know that. I said it looks. It makes me uncomfortable to see babies in and I wouldn't put my kid in it.

I am curious not trying to be rude. But why does it look uncomfortable?

Both! It helps to teach them to sit up on their own. My lo sits on his own, but I still stick him in it when I'm doing my hair/makeup, or we put him in it when we go to a restaurant to feed him his food.

Both! It helped Cae. Once they can hold their heads up well, they can use it. She sits pretty good for 4 months so I think the Bumbo helped.

neither, in the case of the Monster. She never liked being restrained, she always wanted to be on the floor trying to get around, even when she couldn't.

Cool, but it has still won awards for it's design.
