due dec. 6th

well im a first time mom. and very new at all this. i have no clue what to expect. i went to the hospital lastnight bc i was hurting really bad. but i wasnt contracting. i had went two weeks ago and was contracting. i had dialated a fingertip. they gave me a shot to stop them. this is all very new to me.

Its weird your having contractions with your first cuz with my first I didnt feel nothing til I went into labor and now I pregnant again and I have so many contractions! I started getting them at 20 weeks and i got a shot also now they just come and go If I get them bad Im supposed to take terbutaline. I went to the doctor last tuesday andI was having them on the stress test and they always just disapear! Good Luck With your first!!

I never dialated with my first either so I hoping I dialate earlier so this time I have an idea of a easier labor I went through heck the last time Ill seriously die if it is as hard as last time! Just remember to sleep as much as you can before you go into labor youll be excausted!!

oh wow. yeahh thats what im afraid of. i hope i dont have too bad of a labor. i try to sleep as much as possible but im up all night running to the bathroom.

Yea same here just when you start getting light contractions take a nap if bearable because I had no energy to push my son out!! I hope you have an easy labor too especially it being your first!!

ok i will. yeahh nobody has told me anything about this whole experience except its very painful.

Well when I was like 39 weeks and 5 days my doctor stripped my membranes then like 30 mins later I started getting these little contractions and then I went in at 10 oclock still with little contractions but more frequent and I thought that was it HAHA I was definitley wrong! It gets worst as the night goes by it sucks! Takinga shower and like standing up then squating then standing up, keep repeating that and your contractions go away ( well the bad ones do) My doctor for some reason made me get in the hospital shower and I could barley stand but I started doing it and I kept the contractions off for over an hour that was a mistake cuz I kept screaming LET ME TAKE A SHOWER!!!! for the rest of the night hahah.

ha yeah i would be saying the same thing.
