vagina pain?

I've been having this weird pain in my "vagina area" for about 24 hrs now. The closest I can come to describing it is that it feels like if you were riding a bike and went over a bump and got slammed down on the seat too hard. Does anyone have any idea of what this is? Could it just be some weird side effect of the baby kicking a certain place?

I know it's not a UTI or yeast infection or anything like that. It's almost more like it's "sore" and it's not really on the "inside" more in the "forward" region like where the front part of a bike seat is. I haven't had sex in about a week, so it wouldn't be from that either.

can be very normal with pregnancy - likely a vericosity in the vagina that is kinda pulsing. it can hurt like hell

Yep, it's normal. And get used to it, lol. I think the baby is hitting nerves or something. I used to get this pain where it literally felt like someone was sticking a knife in me.

well, as long as it's normal, I guess I can deal. Sometimes it's worse than others, but so far pretty tolerable and sometimes it goes away for awhile.

ah the "joys" of pregnancy.

Yeah for the past week I have it pretty much everyday! Along with the oh so wonderful cramping and back pain.

hmmm -I like everyone's answers -at first I had no idea what to say except that I felt that way a Lot After I had the baby -and right before (if I'm remembering correctly) -and yes -it feels like someone kicked you in the crotch! -but after reading some of the other's responses -it reminded me of something I read last night about how something down there softens during pregnancy so it can open up during labor. I know this is vague -but I can't find where in the book I read it! -I've been skipping around trying to find helpful info -but if I don't write down where I find what... and have no idea that I'll need what I'm reading then -lol but yes -Makes much sense -and even though I can't remember when it started for me last time -it felt SO weird!
