Do you have a personal Doctor?

Do you have a certain/personal doctor that you call to deliver your baby?
Or do you just deliver with whoever is on call?

I called the ob/gyn that I had used for all my pregnancy appointments. Had he been off that night, one of the other doctor's in the same practice would've delivered. (whoever was on call for their practice).

I have a main doctor I see. Although if he isn't available the next people in line are his partners.. his twin brother & then there's a girl ob. They are all really nice people... But I'm most comfortable with my doctor so he better not be busy when I'm in labor lol.

Usually you ob or gyno who has watched you the whole pregnancy will deliver the baby.

If your doctor is not avaible, they will use a doctor on call.

I have my own OB that will deliver me. The same with my previous children - I have never had to deliver with the on-call doctor. I have my OB's cell phone # and instructions to call when it's time  

My doctor or midwife will be delivering my baby. Whichever one is on call that night. I dont care which one. My doctors office rotates visits with each appointment so you have met with both numerous times.

I was wondering that here in Cali, but they told me whoever is on call that night or so...will be the one delivering my baby.

It will be whoever is on call for me.

I had a main doctor that I always saw but Miles came so fast her partner delivered him. She came running in the room like 5 minutes after he was born lol.

The office i went through was who ever was on call when i went into labor. But the good thing was i knew all the doctors cause they made sure i saw each Dr. and midwife before i went into labor.

Whoever is on call will be delivering my baby. I'm GLAD my OB doesn't work at the hospital I'm delivering at because I really don't like her.

LOL. mine works at my hospital. and this is gay jsut found out i have to do my pre admission form =(
