11 month old weight

My baby will be 11 months old tomorrow & he weighs 18.5 lbs as of today. Woo hoo! My baby is growing   I know I'll still be in trouble with the pedi next month since he is supposed to be 26lbs by then (& no way is he going to gain 8 lbs in 4 weeks....) but I don't freaking care right now because I am finally 100% confident that my baby is healthy & an appropriate weight  
Some of my happiness could be stemming from the fact that he is finally at least TRYING different foods I offer him, & he just ate a ton of turkey & shredded cheese for lunch. Plus some of my tortellini... & some Gerber puffs.... I don't think he is underweight at all. Who cares if he isn't on the charts?? NOT ME  

And I don't see any ribs sticking out.....

my daughter is 10.5 months andshe weighs 20 pounds. She doesnt eat anything. She hates all foods. I offer and offer and she doesnt like it. Some babies take longer for the whole food thing.

He looks perfect to me.My almost 13 month old barely weighs 22 lbs.Charts really should be thrown out, it should be their BMI that counts.

I hate the charts  
They keep saying Chase is tall & skinny, but I'm not seeing the "skinny" part. He is almost 30 inches, so I get that he isn't chubby, but the word skinny just rubs me the wrong way. Slim, slender- that sounds a lot less degrading to me (for lack of a better word)

I was only ever called skinny once, so for myself I'd be ecstatic, but I agree he is not even remotely skinny.My other two were biiig babies so he is my 1st little guy-I kind of like it.
