Breech?

posted 3rd Nov
Hey ladies,
Im 37wks this week. I have a feeling my baby went from head down to a breech position. All the pressure from my pelvic and all...just seemed to disappear. Do you think if she really is breech, there is any chance at all she can turn back before i deliver?

And if she stays breech, would i have to get a C-Sec?

thanks much.

I was asking my CNM about that at my last appointment! My baby's headdown, but she said that babies always move, that she's seen some turn even while mom's in labor!

I can feel his head (my baby is breeched) it feels hard and round above my belly button, but mine has been breeched for over a couple months.. he didn't want to turn. Yes, breeched you'd have to have a c-section.

Just relax. <3 I'm sure everything will be fine. Sometimes they can even manipulate the baby into head down position too.

My son was breech from 30 weeks to 36 weeks when he turned. Honestly at the point where you are you would feel your baby turn that much and it honestly hurts that is how i knew that my son turned to head down. but to answer your question if they LO is breech and doesn't turn before you go into labor they will either ask you if you would like them to turn your LO or have a c section.

My daughter was feet first breech. I decided to not try to turn her so I wouldn't risk hurting her I ended up having a scheduled c section.

I never got asked that question. My doc says you're definitely going to need a c-section.

At least he's going to do that. I know someone who was in labor and the nurses didn't bother to check the baby's position. She didn't preregister so they wouldn't even give her an epidural. She vaginally delivered a baby frankfurt breech with no epidural. She's lucky they survived.
