Yeah   being a mom is the greatest gift in the world, but ppl like the OP need to realize its not all fun and games once the baby is here, yeah its amazing, but its not easy. Your life completly changes. Ppl told me that all the time and i never belived them lol.

I'm 16 and pregnant. But I'm going to school, I have good grades, and I'm going to be a good mom. I start parenting classes soon, and I'm going to college to be an ultrasound tech. I, however, was on bithcontrol and was NOT TTC, and after this one will be TTC until I'm out of college, on my own, and supporting my family.
However. I don't agree that you say 16 year olds that get pregnant will never gett off of welfare. I know people who had babies young but are very successful. She's immature, and is obviously not ready for a baby. Not all 16 year olds are like that.

i didnt read all the posts, but when she said " thats how i feel" she was saying that to me and what i said was that ppl ttc so young dont realize, how hard its gonna be i was in college, and working full time and got pregnant, i have no help w/ my daughter and i had to put going to school off so i work a 10.00 an hour job and i can't go out and do anything anymore, which is what i ment. I know ppl get pregnant young, and that dont make you a bad mom or person i just dont think ppl should ttc so young. I think they should go out and live there life first b/c most ppl at the age the op started to ttc dont really know what it will be like to be mom.
But it sounds like your doing good!! How are you going to school to be an ultrasound tech already? Did you graduate early or something??

I never said any 16 year old who is onn welfare will stay on welfare, I was just painting a realistic picture for the OP of what will happen if she doesnt get her shit together. It's great that you go to school and get good grades, lcontinue to do so and you will do great things.

Im still waiting for the OP to answer my question from like 10 pages back. I will repeat it for her. WHY do you want a baby?
