I need prayers and a hitman!

My Grandma Fran is in the hospital with a cracked vertebrae in her lower back. She's 71 and in imense pain even with shots of morphine. I wish I could take the pain away. She's such a lovely woman and does everything for everybody. She did this damage while helping at her church.

Last Thursday I called her and she was crying. When I asked her what happened she said she thought she threw out her back and got some vicodin from the dr and some adavan (anxiety meds to help her settle her mind and help her rest) I called on Halloween but her husband, John (NOT MY GRANDPA) answered and said she was sleeping. I called again on Sunday and John answered and almost hung up on me, until I heard my grandma faintly in the background. Come to find out she had fallen out of bed earlier Sunday morning while trying to get up to go to the bathroom. She was unable to get to the phone and John just left her there on the floor for over two hours! She peed herself and was freezing when my aunt showed up.

Long story short, John wasn't giving her food or water cause HEAVEN FUCKING FORBID, she'd need to use the God damn bathroom! My aunts and I assumed that he was taking decent care of her, ya fuckin right!
She finally went to the hospital yesterday and it was confirmed that a vertebrae is broken and she's awaiting treatment from an Orthopedic specialist.

Anyone know a good hit man to off her idiotic husband?

Exactly! He's a complete fucking idiot! In the ER yesterday her lips looked so parched and I asked her if she would like a drink. I got a straw so she could drink from a bottle of water since she's lying almost completely flat on her back. John had to speak up and literally said, "Well, you know the trouble with drinking, is that now she's gonna need to use the bathroom" I gave him the look of death and said, "Oh HEAVEN FORBID"

My grandma married him like 3 years ago, he's the laughing stock of the family and NO body likes him. I don't even think my grandma likes him   ugg

When my grandma fell on the floor it was like 5 in the morning and he didn't call my aunt until like 7 ish. When my aunt asked him, HOW COME YOU DIDN'T call me sooner? He replied, I didn't want to bother you or wake you.

He has mental issues. period.   part of me thinks that he wasn't doing it on purpose, he's just so delusional.

im sorry mama. i will keep you and your family in my prayers. seems like he's slow or maybe he just doesnt care. i would feel the same way about ringing his neck though.

That's heinous! She needs to be in a subacute rehab if possible until she is a little better. Had she hit her head, it could have been disastrous. Older persons are susceptible to dehydration...Ooo that makes me so angry!

She has Kaiser and my aunts are looking into what her options are. It's so sad to see her in so much pain she can't think straight. Plus taking all those meds and not eating enough has made her so loopy! Her husband is a damn old fool

My prayers are with her! Keep us posted. Any break at that age can be so debilitating, especially if she's not well nourished.

omg - if that happened to my gma, i honestly don't think i'm above beating the shit out of an old man... i'd go crazy.
