Cheer for me POTTY ???

posted 3rd Nov
So, today we're going to buy the Fisher Price Cheer For Me Potty for $32 at Walmart.

Product Information
The Fisher-Price Cheer for Me! Potty provides realistic toilet elements mixed with fun rewards and encouragement. Toddlers are rewarded with 5 phrases and 2 sing-along training songs for "contributions." There are 2 stages of use: 1) the full potty on the floor for the beginner with an easy clean bucket, and 2) the seat and lid come off and snap onto the adult seat to help transition to the 'big' potty.
  • 'Chrome' flush handle with a click
  • Retractable toilet paper roll holder
  • Fully functioning seat with lid
  • Guard for boys is included

It can also be used on top of the toilet and the bowl is removable for easy cleaning. It sings when there is liquid IN the potty, not just when your kid sits on it.

  • What are your choices on a potty? Any recommendations?

I wanted to get that one so badly, but my husband wanted to just buy the cheap one. I guess it didn't really matter in the end. I think with enough encouragement, they'd poop anywhere. haha jk

My LO loves to flush the big toilet & this one is the only one I've seen with a flusher...

This one seems to work fine for her!

I ahven't seen that one, but then again our walmart is craptastic. Small selection...But either way, this one's cute. She has a similar chair by FP that she loves too. Is Koty using the potty at all?

Sky used the potty 2x successfully when we were in Vegas in August, but since we haven't had a potty...I wonder how she'll do. I used it when she woke up for the day, cuz she usually has a pee diaper right after I change her over night diaper.

My daughter had a talking/musical potty once, at first it freaked her out and then all she did was play with it and the very point of it got lost as all she did was stack toys into it to make it sing

We have a regular, plain plastic one now that doesn't sing or talk and it's the one that's worked best for us

I didn't even think about that, thank you!

At least it has an on/off switch =)

Lol see with my pride and joy, once she knows that a toy can sing or talk.. if I turn it off - her world ends and ensues this huuge fit as she can't understand why her toy is suddenly quiet lol our house is seriously like a talking toy mine zone, anything you push/walk by/step on sings/talks to you - not great at nap/bedtime!

Good luck with the potty, I know several people who actually had success stories with fisher price potties

My LO will try to play with whatever is turned off for a few minutes and then move on. How old is she??

21 months old, she generally knows how to turn all her toys on but sometimes the switches are tricky and she can't quite move them, then it gets bad lol

She isn't a capricious child nor is she demanding but on the few occasions that things don't go her way, instant transformation into a banshee I tell you! At least she's super cute to make up for it
