Haha, well my LO is only 14 months so perhaps we haven't hit the banshee stage yet. She's pretty mild mannered and sweet though.

Lol I think you're safe because even at 14 months she was already temperamental when it came to wanting things her way

It's awesome that you've decided to get a potty, I got Nika a potty early on as well, only because I wanted her to be acquainted with one but she just took to it so well and even though she was a later walker and crawler (lol she actually crawled after she walked!) she was definitely was paced when it came to the potty, it went so well for us that she hasn't been in a diaper since she was 18 months old

She uses the potty a lot... well not a lot anymroe it was a lot before. But we still put her on it after her nbap and pretty much whenever i pee i ut her on her potty!

Well from what I' ve gathered, toddlers pee the moment they wake up, for us it was all about getting to the potty in time as soon as she wakes up which for the first week basically took me looking at her all the time around the time she was about to wake up, after that routine settled, she started holding pee in after naptime until we got to a potty.

I also offered her the potty every hour or so, for a while she peed every half an hour or so but soon enough she started waiting longer and longer to go, and since it became routine, she'd give me signals that she needed to go, it started off with a grunt now it's 'potty!' or 'pee pee' or 'poo poo'

Great! Thank you so much! She's sat on the potty a million times today with no luck. I'm just glad she likes to sit on it though. She seems a bit confused though because we have this:& when you sit on that, it has a bazillion things to sing & say. So she repeatedly plops her butt on the potty looking for a sing along!

We have that too! My daughter still loves it and she's about to turn two, lol alas now she mostly used it to stand on and get stuff off shelves >.>

We also have the fisher price booster seat, the tropical forest one lol and at first we had the same issue, I think the seats feel the same so she'd plop down and look around in a 'k.. now you're supposed to sing' way

Well at least it's not just Skylie doing the Fisher Price plop. I have to also persuade her from standing on the chair. She destroys enough as it is without the few extra inches!

Nika had little to no interest in climbing stuff up until she was 18 months old - I can't believe I was all 'I wish she'd be a mischievous toddler and be all over the place' lol three months later she's always in three different places at once and I'm exhausted
