4d ultrasound.

My mom bought me a session for a 4d ultrasound for my birthday :]

I was wondering if any of you had one? I'm thinking of getting it around 21-22 weeks. I don't want it too late because the babies won't have much room, and also because I don't want to see exaclty what they look like...I want it to be a surprise when they're born lol. But I don't want it too early because I heard they look like monkies too early.

Do 22 weeks sound like a good time?

I'd get it later, we had a 3d/4d one done at 22 and 25 weeks and it was a HUGE difference.

Too early. I went at 28 weeks and it was perfect. 22 weeks the baby will still look too skeletal.

I'm just scared they won't have much room :[

Would 25 weeks be better?

i'd say 28 weeks. because before then thy do look sort of alienish..

they stil dont have much fat then seriously 28-30 would be best, thats what most places recommend too

My doc office wont even do them until 28 weeks

I had both of my 4D video ultrasounds made at 28 weeks and they were perfect. Plenty of room to move and wonderful face shots!!! I would wait a little while.

I didn't have it done, but the pictures I've seen of them done look better when they are in the late 20ish weeks. Then again, though, you are having twins so they will run out of room faster. I don't know....Good luck though! I'm sure you will enjoy it no matter when you have it done!

You should get it later then that. I got mine at 29 weeks & it turned out GREAT.

It was really hard to wait lol. But I knew I would get better shots if I did. I wish I would have done one with Kailee...oh well, WAY too late now haha.

would it make a difference because she is having twins? i would think they would run out of room quicker. im going to get one done at 30 weeks when i get there
