OMG please HELP ME!

My kid has turned into super brat extrodinare...

He wakes up at 530 am....
he cries all day long.
nothing makes him happy.
not even his milk.
not even his toons.
he cries.
he whines.
first i thought he was constpiated. at first.. he was. this has been going on about a week or more now. he WAS constipated. fed him prune juice.. he pooped [after trying for over a day to take a shit] and he pooped ALOT... all was well... but a few hrs later... he's back to the same whiney crying mean.. hitting. slapping. throwing.. nothing makes me happy kid.

what the fuck he is driving me nuts.
he wont eat much... im lucky to get him to eat a few bites of food at dinner. then he wakes up at 530am.. becaust *i think* he is just hungry. so he'll eat. be ok for a little while.. then he's back at it again.. but not b/c he's hungry. not b/c he's tired. not b/c he is in pain that i know of.. IDK WHY.

idk how to get him to eat more..
b/c he'll just eat a few bites.. then throws his food on the floor and starts his fits again.
i mean its literally cry cry whine whine whine ALL DAY LONG. ican deal w/ a day or two like this.. b/c thats a typical toddler. but this has been over a week now. he had an ear infection 2 weeks ago. got him meds. went to the dr again a week ago and the infection was all cleared up. he was happy after a day or two on meds.... a week went by and it was well... then THIS starts.

im going insane.
how do i get him to eat?! i think he's just been in this mood.. he wont eat and therefore he's hungry and cranky maybe... which if he isn't eating enough its probably wearing him down so he's just tired too ... but he wont sleep, well more than his 1 long nap but even after his one long nap [its usually 2.5-3.5 hours long] he's STILL cranky.
after eating he'll be ok for like 30 min then cranky AGAIN.


omg... what the helllllll.
idk i thought maybe its his 2 y/o molars [he has all the other teeth] but there are little to no signs of that other than not eating..







help.

like i said.. i can deal w/ a cranky kid for a few days.. thats no big deal and typical. but over a week now of nonstop.. constant whining, mean, crying, hitting, throwing, ALL DAY LONG full blown tantrums... its starting to really get to me. espically since now... the day begins at 530 A FUCKING M...

Does he have all his teeth? He could be trying to get his molars. Did you try Tylenol?

What about an ear infection? Does he sleep well at night?

if it is not molars could he have IBS? what with the constipation issues???

he has all 16 teeth, idk i cant feel any of the 2 y/o molars and he isn't drooling, chewing, runny nose, fever, or dierehha like usual when he teethes.. but idk he could be working on them and just little to no symptoms yet other than bratty mc brat brat lol.

Ears and throats are intricately connected. Perhaps his ear infection caused throat pain? Which would explain why he won't eat -- it's tasty, but hurtful. And if it is throat pain then he's probably cranky because it hurts to swallow his own spit, to breathe (possibly), and stay asleep.

bread
peanuts
mushrooms
vinegar (to include mustard and other condiments)

that could be a possibility.. b/c he had a TON OF SNOT w/ his ear infection.. i mean he was like a damn snot fountian.. and it caused him to cough alot from the post nasal drip, so he could still have an irratated throat from all the coughing.. he was fine a fwe days after we started meds though then started this maybe a little less than a week later... so IDK.. but i do think b/c he isn't eating its just causing total all day cranky pants mode... i nkow im cranky when im hungry. lol. he eats a little.. probably just enough to ease his tummy then he starts spitting food out.

i think you need to take a time out. is there someone.. your SO or mother that could have him for a few hours or over night so you can have some 'me time' just to relax for a few hours.

is he bored? my girls get like that sometimes and i take them out for a few hours just for a change of scene and it seems to help.

idk he's always frekking constipated.
the dr suggested cutting his dairy down... so i cut his milk down but that doesn't seem to be the issue b/c when he DOES get milk he doesn't even drink all of it.. he'll drink like 1/2 of what i give him [usually about 4-5oz a few times a day w/ meals] then he'll be done w it.

lol ive been trying to get someone to take him from me for a few hours for months now... his dad took him over night oncebut that night turned out to be a disaster [SO's car broke down, we sat in the cold changing car parts all night and all the next morning.. so me time wasn't really part of that night lol]

then his dad asked me if he could have him this past sunday night.. i didn't ask.. HE asked... then i call all day sunday and cant get ahold of him... 6pm rolls around and he says... uhh i just woke up i dont feel well [hangover] so i cant take him.

his dad is really the only person that'll take him and since he has kaleb while im at work he doesn't take him much other than that.







but i def do need meeeeeee time.
i try to entertain him and give him lots of attention because i find usually thats all he wants when he gets like that.... but even then 5 min into playing with him he's cranky again like he got bored lol. i wish we had a kid play gym or something around here like gymboree.

i didn't read all yet but i hope thats not what he has.. can babies have it?
his pedi said its probably his diet.. at this age it usually is.. to change up his diet to inclue more fiber.. fruit.. less diary and stuff that causes constipation... if that doesn't work to get some milk of magnesia and add a little to 1 cup of milk each day... b/c if it continues it'll make it hard to potty train and he's RIGHT.. we are PTing and he sat on the potty pushing and pushing for 30 min and NO POO... the next daywe had to put a diaper on him.. feed him prune juice. massage his belly.. lift his knees. an hr later finally he poo'd..

My daughter has chronic constipation from her thyroid and her endocrinologist said it is suggested for toddlers/babies who have constipation issues. It is recommended because it has no flavor.. it can be mixed in any drink. No gas or cramping. I swear by it. My husband and daughter both take it every 2 days. It is safe to take everyday if needed and it is safe to take in pregnancy, just an FYI   It is natural not really considered a laxative.
