41 weeks and 2 days

thats right i'm 41 weeks and 2 days and 2 cm dilated. my doctor never said if i was effaced at all. did say baby boys head is still a lil high and that was last tuesday. but i'm curious cause i'm pretty sure i've had contractions the past 2 nights for several hours each time but then they just up and stopped. on saturday night i had them for about 4 hours, they hurt incredibly bad and i had major pressure on my really lower back basically on my tailbone. and they were like 7 minutes apart and lasted for 30-45 seconds. and then again same thing last night but for 2 hours and they were a bit longer with little sharp pains in my pelvic bone. what does this sound like to you experienced mommies? i have an appt tomorrow and i'm gonna ask to be induced cause i'm soo big and miserable that i can't even catch my breath anymore.

Baby Jaxon Arrived at 11 pm on wednesday november 4th weighing in at 6 lbs 15 oz and 20 in. long. I was in labor 9 and half hours and only had to push for 40 minutes! so glad he's finally here!

actually he wasn't 'technically' overdue -a baby can come as late as 2 weeks after the due date and be just fine. It's only after that when it's actually Overdue... but yeah... -plus it's completely normal for first time mommies to go about 9 days past their 'expected due date' -when they're left alone and aren't induced. Baby probably would have been much bigger then.
Having one under 7 pounds sounds nice! -smaller to get out ;) -and only pushing for 40 minutes! Congratulations Mommy!!!       *sigh... still waiting my turn... again... ;)

it was okay. i didn't like how long and close together my contractions were from the get go but that got fixed pretty quick with my epidural.
