Hubby wrote me about TTC when he getshome, who knows i see him at the end of the month maybe i will get lucky? ha ha..anywho, he also put down he wants to try for a girl and we talked about the name Shauna-Kay in the past... do you like it??    sooooo soon i know but I am so excited he wants to try, its all i can think about.

I like Shauna, but me personally don't like Kay with it. But its not my choice. I think I have only meet like one Shauna though.

See I like it but I am not sure about the Kay part...and he really likes that name, he was set on it with our 1st pregnancy, he choose the girl name and I choose the boy name...hmmm I dont know

Shauna is nice, you don't hear her too often these days, and she's pretty. My only issue is the hyphen. Hyphens in first names can be annoying and often get misspelled on legal documents and such. My suggestion would be either A) Pick a longer name that Kay can be short for and put it in the middle, but call her Shauna Kay on a daily basis. Something like Shauna Katherine.....any K name, basically. Or B) If your really set on just Kay, use it as the middle name and call her by both.

yeah I am not sure where he got k, but If we do that name I think it should be the middle name aswell. I choose our sons fullname, He gets to choose the daughters, but if we have another boy when we do get pregnant I think I will let him choose his name aswell.

If I had to add a con to it, I would say that it reminds me of the Mary Kay thing. And I don't mean the make-up, lol.
