how did you mamas feel a couple days before you went into l

I had my weekly appointment today in the morning, im 37 weeks 4 days i wasnt dialated i was still "closed" my feet were really swollen though & had a small trace of protien in my urine she was worried i might be developing Toximiabut after comming home i started to clean a lil but then i started getting cramps like before you start your period i know labot pains are gonna be way worst im guessing this is my first pregnancy and im way more titred today then i have been......iforgot to ask the doc but can toximia cause labor & just wondering how other mams felt before they went into labor

At my 40 week check up i was closed my midwife said i wasn't even a fingertip dilated. I was bummed out when she told me that. Then after the appointment i just felt weird. I was tired and my back was hurting. At dinner i was just spacey because i just didnt feel right. My mom who is a RN told me i was labor because what i thought was just cramps was actaully contractions.

I don't think toxemia (pre-eclampsia) causes you to go into labor. I think that if you have it then they have to induce if you don't go into labor on you own. I've read that they will induce you at 37 weeks if you have it, just to be safe.

yeah she didnt really go into much detail about it but i have to go back in 3 days to check my urine & bp , im just soo tired today n the cramps i had earlier i havent felt since like the beggining of my pregnancy, i want her out already but im so tired lately i can only imagine if she were to come out soon i need my sleep!
