Gifted Clothes for LO.

My brother's roommate gave me hand-me-down clothes today and there are soooooo many! Ellie is going to be outfitted quite well. I just wanted to share how nice I think people are with helping us lucky pregnant ladies out. Not only has she been given these clothes, but I have 5 extra (like new) car seats (I got a brand new one just to be on the safe side), 2 exersaucers, 4 swings, 3 high chairs, 2 pack and plays, 2 jogging strollers, and all the gifts from her shower. I am so so so thankful for it all. I can't wait to pass it along (hopefully we can keep everything in working order!) to a needy friend. I have a friend who's due in January who is getting lots of good stuff because of it.

Just wanted to share the happiness!!!

Yeah as soon as people head I was pregnant stuff showed up on my doorstep lol. I'll share with you  !

haha thanks hun but my girls are 14 months and 2.5 now so they are past all the baby stuff. We managed just fine on our own but all that baby gear and baby clothes add up quickly! Its awesome you are going to pass it on to a friend when you are done!

I'd be happy to ship one! I'm not positive on the status of the manuals but I'll def check in the morning and let you know. (I'd look now, but the light in the baby storage area is broken and it freaks me out to go in there). But for sure if all the important parts are there (I'm pretty sure they are), consider one your's.

just FYI you can get a new carseat at the hospital for free or like a $20 co-pay. WIC clinics give them out too. It would probably cost just as much to ship a used one since its so big.

My hubby and I have bought two or three clothing items for Milo. The rest have been given to us. We have 75 onesies that are sized between newborn and 6 months. Just onesies. Not including outfits, sweaters, shoes, and stuff above 6 months.

There are so many people I want to hug soooo tightly  
And all the stuff I've gotten, once Milo out grows it, I'm gonna give it to someone in need. If I don't know anyone then, I'm gonna find someone.
Hopefully a single pregnant woman who is scared and alone. Just so she can know there is someone in the world that does care.

We have a clinic here on the 21st for $15. I thought maybe if she had one of those nice car seats I wouldn't mind paying the shipping on it, but I thought about it,I'de rather have abasic new carseat then a nice used one, just to be safe.

Totally off topic, but I just peeked at your profile and saw that you're going to name your LO Eleanor. That's my dd's name. It is a great one!

yeah its always best to get a new one just since you never know. Isn't your lo an older infant? She's probably ready for a convertible carseat rather than an infant one anyways.
