still preggo after a D&C???

Ok so this IS NOT me...but I'm curious...this girl I know told everyone she was preggo, and that she had a D&C on 8/13 at about 6w along because the baby never got a heartbeat...she is now saying shes still pregnant (18 or 19 weeks) and that when they did the procedure it never came out, is that even possible?!

No. a D&C scrapes everything out.

No not if they actually did it. They go in and scrape everything out. But lets just say she isnt lying and they did do it wrong, she has one hell of a case!

you ladies are reading my mind!!!! she even posted a u/s pic on FB and Myspace...and has told people she has had NINE previous miscarriages...*raises eyebrow* and shes trying to say she didn't know she was pregnant still...It sound uber fishy to me...myself as well as two of my friends that know her think shes making shit up to get attention...

Nope, shes saying that the baby DID have a heartbeat and that the Doc's were wrong...

We can't figure out if shes lying about the D&C (which she just "happened" to get pregnant and miscarry a few weeks after I lost my first...) or if shes lying about still being pregnant...

Not possible. They make sure they get it out so they can run tests to see if there was anything they can tell why you miscarried.

I was gonna say.... they wouldn't do a D&C on a healthy, normal, pregnancy.
