Cervix Opening.

Today I had a weird feelin&&thought I had pee'd on myself&& as soon as I got up blood just ran down my leg.. I went to the ER && the doc said my pregnancy hormones are normal; and higher from my last obgyn's visit. But she told me my cervix is open a very little. She said my body is likely preparing for a miscarriage OR that it's just normal for my pregnancy.. idk what to think cus at my last obgyn appt my cervix was fine. I'm not worryin or stressin myself; just numb cus idnt wanna lose my baby..  
I was just wonderin has anyone else had this problem; or any problem w|their cervix during the beginning of their pregnancy?!

was the bleeding off and on?
and what color was the bleeding?

I would be concerned about your cervix giving out, sometimes they have to stitch it shut during the pregnancy.

Never had that happen,but the dr may have to give you a cerclage if your pregnancy doesn't miscarry to keep you from having preterm baby.

I had dull stomach pains the past wk but nothing to where I was in PAIN! The bleeding just came outta nowhere; I was bleeding alil even when I was in the ER. It wasn't a bright red but not a period blood red. The doc said she was concerned; so I have an appt w|the obgyn wednesday. && I'll ask them about the stitching and cerclage when igo.. Thanks ladies. I didn't know they could do that..

I am in tears your story is so much like mine. Please please please I bed of you put your foot down tell them you want a cervical cerclage and 17p shot. What it seem that you have is call IC incompete cervix a weak cervix. I lost my baby boy Collin in may do to this. what happen is you will dialate and eventually your bag of water will come through a little causeing it to Pprom and then labor starts. You do not want this I gace birth to a 18 weeks 6 day old baby boy and it hurts. I am currently pregnant again and I got a preventative cerclage at 11 weeks please keep me posted please demand those thing from your doctor before it is to late.
