Which Birth Control??

im a very forgetful person ive been on the pill before and I always forgot to take it and when i eventually remembered it would sometimes be days later or hours later. So when I waspregnant I had a good amount of time to think about what birth control method I could use other than pills; so i hadconsidered getting the Depo-Provera shot but imnot sure anymore since ive heard it makes you gain weight like crazy, but if you've had a small frame your whole life then you wont blow up like a ballon.

So now Ive been thinking of getting the Mirena IUD but I dont know much about it.
I want to know if it'll make me (gain weight, make me moody, will sex hurt, is it painful, is it safe?)

or is there another kind of birth control that wont give me none of the above??
I would kindly appreciate the advice.

Out of the 4 BC's I've had I like Implanon (lasts for 3 years or shorter) & Nuva Ring

i have the mirena, and i love it. i did have a lot of bleeding in the beginning, but thats ok. doesnt hurt. DH cant feel it during sex. no weight gain. no mood swings (like when i was on the pill).

I've used the Implanon and really liked it.

i absolutely LOVED the nuva ring.

Hormonal BC is the devil  
I have a Paragard and I love it. No remembering to take anything, no hormones.

It had taken my body awhile to get used to thr mirena IUD but now 6 months later I love it! I NEVER have a peroid!

I heard mirena makes you gain a lot of weight, like 20lbs. I have the paragard IUD. Same concept but no hormones. I love it so far, I've only had it for like 3 months but its great!! I go crazy on hormones, i turn into such a bitch and now I don't have to worry about that!

I have Mirena, I like it. No, it doesn't hurt.

I have the Paragurad IUD. I absolutely adore it. I had a bad experience with the Mirena but I know alot of women who love it. With the Paraguard I didnt bleed hardly at all when it was put in and I havent had a period since!!!

ive had the mirena for 9 months, and i havent gained anything. in fact, i am still loosing weight.

Oh and my hubby can feel it during sex too...the strings...but he says it feels nice...like a tickle LOL!!!!

I've tried everything it seems like and I can't find something that doesn't make me totally sick, I just got off NuvaRing which was making me nauseous daily with headaches.

That's probably a big sign that synthetic hormones don't work with your body. You should find an alternative method, that is hormone free.
