Being 34 when I'm 41 weeks... I'm just wondering if I should be worried... I have an u/s on Friday but is that really really small...

Its probably because you dropped. OMG 41 weeks.. Did you not want to be induced or does your Doctor not believe in that.

Have you measured small throughout your pregnancy? If it's just the last few weeks, the baby could be head down and in position.

They were worried she was measuring small...But my belly has always been 2 less then as many weeks I was.

If the dr was not worried then i wouldnt be...some ppl measure large some measure small..its on the small side yes, but i would assume the dr would have said something if it was something of a bad nature

Well she seemed weird like she was acting weird but didnt want me to worry. She started feeling all around my belly for about 2 mins....

i wouldn't worry because i measured like a 5 or 6 week differince and they did a u/s and it was just how she was laying

Is the baby active and all that still?

Kinda. Not as much as she's been. Her movements have lowered a bit. I'm being monitored twice a week and they don't see nothing wrong with it even though I only press the button a few times in the 20 mins period. But now she only moves when she wants to. And she rests a lot. But I guess the kick counts are good.

You have a good point I didn't think about that.

As long as she moves at least 6 times in a day then she is fine...especially at thsi stage where there is not much room for her to move around...are they not going to induce you?

Well my doctor scheduled an induction on my due date. I was 1 cm and between 60 and 70 effaced about 2 weeks ago. She said she didnt want me going over 41 weeks. Well today I went in and my mom told her my older sister was 2 and 1/2 weeks late so my doctor was all like "we should wait, you're cervix is probably not ready" but she hasn't checked me in 2 weeks... So I'm not sure. She was all ready to induce until my mom came with me today... lol

if she does not induce you within 2 weeks of your due date hun you need to go to another dr...as does your sister!!! that is REALLY REALLY dangerous for the baby and you...the placenta starts to die after this time and stops functioning right and decreases its supply to the baby..

I really didn't know that... Well I'm going to be 41 weeks tomorrow...So I'll talk to her about inducing again when I go in Friday. Would that be enough time?

Yeah just tell her that you are concerned about the decrease in placenta function and the risk of decrease in amniotic fluid to baby...also the longer you wait the greater the risk of a higher BP problem for you and other risk such as the baby passing maconium and getting stressed...
