re: Apartment....

I actually just found a 1 bdrm with a den right after i posted this and its priced about $50 more than the 1 bdrms all im concerned about is that it has a arcadia door in the den going out to the patio which i dont feel entirely comfortable with what do you ladies think about that? Howwould you feel about it?

Here is the floor plan......

Definitley get a two bedroom if you can afford it!! Even if you have your LO with you in your room at first, eventually you will want some space and privacy, and a place to store the ridiculous amounts of toys and belongings. Plus its always fun to decorate a nursery

Id get black out curtians. or put like that weather plastic over it and then put like a dresser or armoir blocking the doors.

you can still get to the balcony and storage through another door.

Yeah its a very big floor plan and for the price its really hard to pass up, im just just really worried i dont think anyone should know its a babys room, too many creeps in this world ya know? SO suggested that we take the den and put the baby in the room from the picture it looks like the rooms are about the same size so i dont mind i do like the idea of blackout curtain then no one could see inside and if we do give baby that den room i will putting every lock known to man on that door lol thanks for the suggestion

you could et a door alarm for it, they hhave them for sliding doors, windows, normal doors ect.

I'd get a 2 bedroom. I live with my parents and we share a room and his junk takes up the majority of the house and it's a big house. Baby items are big and bulky-- we have 2 strollers, play mat, jumperoo, boppy, bouncy chair, swing, etc. There is baby stuff sprawled out in each room. I am dreading christmas.

Haha i think this is all helping me make up my mind, seriously ive never been more afraid to have a 1 bdrm in my life lol

If I were you, I would get a 2 bedroom, because your not going to want a toddler in your bedroom, unless your planning on moving again in a year's time.
