Regardless of the situation, or if I agree with my child (ie the person was a slut), my child would be punished for being disrespectful to another person as well as disrespectful towards the school for making them have to deal with her rudeness. I don't tolerate any type of school drama - it is a place for learning and growing, not getting into cat-fights. Seriously.

Well....before I actually ever had sex or even kissed a boy all these girls decided I was a slut I guess.
I got teased all the time. I was always being called a whore and a slut. It was very hurtful and I didn't understand it, I was 11 maybe?So I would try to figure out some sort of punishment I guess. I would also try to teach her how hurtful words can be sometimes.

I would demand why my child called the other child a slut. I'd also want to know where they learned that word & I'd demand the definition from my child.
my kid would be in trouble, but it wouldn't be a harsh punishment.

When I was in Jr High the Vice Principal called a student a slut (because she called another girls a slut) and he got fired! LOL

GOOD! Gods, don't get me started on the principal from my old school. He was married to one of the elementary teachers (my school was so small that we have pre-school through highs chool in the same building.) And he was cheating on her and didn't try to hide it. At this point, he was only a teacher as well. When shit hit the fan, he ended up being promoted and is now the principal and HER BOSS. It's fucked up.

Honestly, i think people take things to much to heart these days. I remember when i was at my old high school, everyday you were either getting called a slut or calling someone a slut; the school usually just let it go. If that happened to my daughter, i would take her side and more than likely, she wouldn't be punished.
