postpartum cramps -HELP!

Im 8 days PP. I have extreme cramping (like contractions), at times I can barely walk unless I hunch over. Its really bad in the morning and only a hot bath seems to help. I am BF, and I know my uterus is contracting, but Im worried I may have an infection --- Do any of you ladies have any information for me?

I had the absolute WORST cramps every single time I'm nurse my daughter until about 6-8 weeks post partum. Take ibprofen every 4 hours and drink oodles of water.

I had crippling after pains. They were awful. After a couple weeks they got better. I was popping Advil like crazy.

I get them even when Im not feeding???? Im so worried.
I thought about more water, thanks mama - Ill go drink now

Don't stress! Everything is so scary during and after pregnancy. Its really normal to be in a ton of pain. IMO, its pretty normal to be in pain until after 6 weeks! Just make sure you aren't getting dehydrated because just like pregnancy, it can make you really uncomfortable post partum.

Ive been taking Ibprofen....I think Ill give advil a try
