Breastfeeding

I heard by breastfeeding you burn a ton of calories and I was just looking to find out how many  

Typically, about 500 calories a day.

500-600/day

I dunno, all I know is 2 weeks pp I was 5 lbs below my pre-preg weight

Is the amount of calories going to effect your decision on if you're going to do it or not?

I'm not sure, but I am 2 and half months PP and 8lbs under my pre-pregnancy weight and I exclusively breastfeed!

Lol, I didn't do anything to lose it aside from breastfeeding

It usually around 500, but it can be more less depending on a lot of factors. Also while many women lose weight while breastfeeding without any other help, many do it and some retain extra weight for their entire nursing relationship. You should nurse your child because its what's best for them, and you should maintain a healthy diet while breastfeeding this will no only help you lose/maintain your weight but will provide the best for your baby.

Alot haha. I lost weight so fast. But not everyone does. My best friend is still about 15lbs heavier because nursing has her holding onto her fat.
