i was sooooo sick the week prior to labor with my 2nd, i KNEW i was going to poo. i had wicked diarrhea. i asked my husband and he said he didn't notice. i asked my mom and she said "YUP! you did!" lol

but i didn't poop with my 1st and i pushed for TWO HOURS with him (compared to the 7 mins i pushed with my 2nd)

yeah i was induced for medical reasons.. so i never went through the "clean out" thing... lol i pushed 4 times and she was out... lol.

I know you can poo natural or medicated. I pooed with my son and I don't want to again lol. In the end it wont matter if I do or don't but I would like it if I could have a poo free labor ;)

Thanks to all that suggested this. I will look into it and ask my doc about it.

hmmm im not sure with me it was natural lol. then i ended up having a c section anyway. But most of the moms that i know that do poo during labor say that they didnt even know it at the time they clean it up with out telling you then they find out from a friend or family member who was in the room later lol.

Well I smelled so I knew lol.

With my first I pooped....... My second I got so nervous when my contractions started I had the runs and never pooped while having him... And Now my Third I have had the runs for about a week now... So I am thinking that I'll go into labor any day now.... But it is a usual thing cause the LO flattens your Colon which squeezes everything out... No big deal.....

thats not really why it happens. it's hormonal.

but it doesn't change the fact that nobody's going to care if you poo lol
