I went to get induced today.. kindof long story

Okay so i've been posting about how my doctor kept saying I had to get induced just because I am 2 days overdue. Well I go into (for the induction) and the nurses hook me up to the IV's and everything, the pitocin is running for about 3 hours and then a different doctor comes in (i've had her before though) comes in and she checks me and i am 1/2 cm dialated she says, and then shes like 'why are you getting induced?' and I was like 'well because Dr Wilson said that I had too and was very upset i cancelled the other one' and she was like 'WHAT! well do you really want to even do this?' and I was like 'no inducing was the last thing I wanted to do' so she talked with me, and she said 'well the pitocion is running and has been, so i'll come back at 1 (they started it at   and if you hasnt progressed much then we'll send you home' and i was like 'okay' and she came back at I was only 2cm dialated. so they sent me home, and now I was an inducing day for thursday if hes not here, they just wanted to give him a little more time to try to come on his own.

My question is though, they were pumping me with pitocion for about 5 hours, and I dialated to 2cm, does that mean I am going to stay at 2cm or can I go back down? Not really sure with that.

you wont go back down most likely- but the pitocin might make you go into labor on your own soon!!! glad you ended up with a dr with half a brain

yes I am glad I ended up with the doctor I had   she was really great, the doctor that kept saying I would have to get induced would've probably made me get a c-section! crazy doctors these days, they just want to make it easy on them.

OP WALK WALK WALK !!! It worked for my cousin who was at 2cm. Try sex too. DO NOT use castor oil

I won't run, I fully support what i said.A natural meathod to bring on labor is much better than being pumped full of pitocin.

If OP is comfortable and happy though, she can continue to wait for her baby.   It will come out eventually
