There is NOTHING natural about taking CO

It gives you the shits..... those contractions of THOSE muscles, stimulate contractions in the rest of you, which is what, IF it works, will send you into labor. But, it doesnt always work, so you just end up sick, with the shits, VERY dehydrated...... and still pregnant. Scarier still, all of that can put serious stress on the baby, which isnt good, and it can make them pass meconium, which isnt good.... and if you dont go into labor and those tihns happen to the baby, it could be really dangerous.

It is not proven that CO makes babies pass meconium.

Ok enough hijacking the ops thread ladies. I offered her an opinion, it is up to her if she wants to try it. It is not up to ya'll to try and turn this into a NO CO thread. She is a grown woman she can make up her own mind.

OP you'll most likely stay and hopefully progress. the only way I've heard you go backwards is if you were pushing before a full 10 cms. Or maybe they said that to keep me from pushing. lol

well I was not even 1 cm when i went in to be induced (but I was 8 days over) and after sitting in the room all day I was finally progressed to 2 cm so they gave me the pitocin, and he was here 5 hr later. I am glad you got a dr who listened to you tho. it was my choice to be induced that day. the drs actually didnt want to, which is why i waited in the room all day to see if i progressed. good luck honey!

I was shitting for 3 days straight lmao  

It is always better to go natural but the only thing about waiting to long past the due date is that as the baby gets bigger and more developed there is more likely of a chance that the baby can have a bowel movement inside of you. So thats one of the reasons the doctors do not want to let you go to far past due. 42 weeks is suppose to be the max they let you go. You still have some time left.

I just really hope he comes before thursday because they arent letting me go past then   thursday if hes not here they are starting the pitocion again, no matter what. LETS HOPE I'VE DIALATED ALOT MORE!   the contractions are all gone now that i'm off the pitocion. so lame
