My boyfriend and I had sex on the 28th and the 29th of October '09. He ejaculated deep inside of me both times. Now, I've read and heard from about 2 different sources that a womans chance of getting pregnant is about 20-25% each month. First question: Is that true? Is it unlikely that I'll be pregnant?
Second question: How long, total, does it take the sperm to reach the egg and for me to conceive? If I were pregnant, would I be by now since it has been about 5 days since the ejaculation?

My cycle length is 27 days long. Though my period is not usually on the same day each month.

My period is around the 14-17 each month.

I went here (http://www.babycenter.com/ovulation-calculator) and it told me my most fertile days were Oct 24 - Oct 29. Does that mean that those dates were the days that I was ovulating?

I want to be pregnant. I'm ready for a child. What are my chances not that you know just about everything you need to?

You could very well be pregnant. Take a test, seriously.

take a test 4-5 days before your missed period. There's a good chance you could get pregnant but a lot of couples take a year (or more) even with no problems to conceive. It never took me more than 2 months both times though.

sperm can stay up in you for 6 days... but it takes 3-6 days for an fertalized egg to make it to the uterus and implant..
and then it will take a couple days after implantation before you can get a positive preg test..
i would wait till you are 5 days before your missed period to test, and test with a good test.
and yes you have 20-25% chance of getting pregnant in normal reproducing women.

no, it would not show that early. I wonder how early a blood test detects pregnancy.

Your chances are pretty good; you had sex when you were ovulating. It takes about 3 days for the sperm to reach the egg and about a week for the egg to implant.

as soon as the egg implants in will start realeasing HGC..
so shortly after conception they can find out with a blood test.
