I hate this waiting game!

We put an offer on a house that had 2 other offers and now we are waiting to see who offered the most. We offered 25k over listing price. I hope it's enough!

I hate this!

I think it would be best to assume that we didn't get it, then I won't be too terribly disappointed.

Good luck!! I hate the waiting game, we had a bid that ended up not getting accepted but w/e....we have to start all over again lol!!

Did you offer over the listing price?

That's what sucks about house hunting, you get attached. We fell in love with a house when we were shopping, but the owners were being jerks about it and wouldn't even consider our offers. We ended up getting a different house that we like just as much.

No we offered what they were asking (which is rare here, everyone goes below asking price). It was a short sale and the guy was an ass. The realtor lied to ours and was playing games.

Tell me about it. We went out to Michigan several months ago and made an offer that fell through. The owners were ridiculous!

It's not my dream house. It needs to get us through the next 4 years, but it was a LOT of house for that price.
