I know I know I am worried about the H1N1 we have decided not to get shots.”No, the rectal temperatures are the most accurate. If you are that concerned, call your children's doctor's and speak to the nurse. However, neither of those are extremely high and you can let the fever run it's course without medicine, but you are certainly welcome to treat with medicine too. We were told by our Pedi to not treat temps under 101 for our oldest (he is four) but I think that was the case after he turned two, and we usually don't treat temps under 100 for our youngest who is one. The fever is the body's natural way of fighting infection.
