Im asking because I just read a book about the tree of knowledge. There are some theories that its many things, pot being one of them. I was wondering if it affected people the same way it did me. I honestly felt more perceptive on life when I started smoking pot. I know weed doesnt affect everyone the same, but it was just a good theory.

If there was one plant out there that could be it, what would your guess be?

Agnostic, smoke all the time.

not pot... but hallucinogenic drugs I've done definitely made me think about life differently (shrooms, dmt)

DMT... it's a chemical found in some plants, some toad venom (licking toads) and it's found in your penial gland in your brain, DMT is said to be released when you're born, when you die, and when you're dreaming.
Many tribes who use it call it the Dead Man's drug b/c they say it's the closest you can come to experiencing death without dying. Shamans take it to "prepare" themselves for death....

I've done it twice, it's WAY intense.
