I've come across a few pages with the picture that says "Age doesnt define what type of mother you are." So my question is....Do you think age has alot to do with what type of mother you are? Why/Why not?

if your a 15 year old whore trying to gt knocked up because you "want" a baby.. i think age matters because if thats the case your obviously not even mature enough to take care of yourself as well as a baby.
i got prego at 18 and got my act together asap..and i think im a great mother...

Emotionally at any age someone could be a shitty mother, or a great mother.
Financially... I don't think the 13/14/15 year olds are going to be the best mothers.

I think alot of it has to do with maturity... and people mature at different ages.

It depends. I think that I'm a better mother for waiting until I was older b/c I was a very selfish person prior to my son. I had to get all that selfishness out of my system.
When I see those it is usually a justifcation that teen mothers feel they need expressed.

I think it does effect how your kid is raised though....that's not the word I'm looking for. But like, I have an eight year old sister, my mom had her when she was 42, I was 15....and she is WAY more advanced for her age, because of the fact that she was raised around older people. I have a cousin who had her first kid at age 14, needless to say he isn't the brightest crayon in the box. It age doesn't define if you ae a good mom or not, but it does define how your kids social skills, language skills, patients... and what not.
