Hey I just saw what you said about going off birth control... just wanted to let you know that when I went off the pill, it took me 120 days to ovulate (holy crap, I know!). I was using opk's every single day bc we wanted to ttc but it literally took months for my body to kick into gear. I finally ovulated on day 120, got my period a week later, then it took 45 days to ovulate again - but I got pg with my son that time!  

Not saying this will happen to you, but just be aware that it might take a while for your fertility to come back and don't freak out... even though it took a while for me to ovulate, I got pregnant pretty fast after birth control. Good luck!

I don't know if how long you;re on it makes a difference, but it would make sense if there was some correlation. I was on birth control for like 5 years so it definitely could have made a difference. I was convinced I was infertile and FREAKING out for all those months, but I ended up getting pg quickly once af finally returned lol... just wanted to share that with you in case it takes longer than you think so you don't get all ahead of yourself and start looking up international adoption after like 1 month ttc like I was. haha. ;)

It took me a LONG time to have a normal cycle after getting off BC. I'm still not sure if I'm having a normal cycle. My first 2 months off BCwere only 14-17 days long! I talked to my OB about it and she said it's normal for young adults to go through this transition =/
I'd keep using the OPKs daily until you have a normal cycle.

Definately! It only took me a month to conceive my son... the wait is worth it this time around but frustrating!
I hated the wait for a normal cycle... it killed me to see AF every 2 weeks   I think this is the first cycle I'm actually O'ing since getting off BC in June.
