re: Aiden vs. Liam.

of the two, i prefer liam(mainly because my friends dogs name was aiden so thats what i think of lol) But you can google the popularity of baby names in the US and it will give you a list of the top 1000 most used names!
My bestfriend names her son Layton and i love that name.

Just because you only know one Aiden in your area doesn't mean people you don't know aren't naming their sons that. There will probably be at least 3+ Aidens/Kaidens/Braidens/Jaydens in your kid's class.

There is nothing wrong with naming your son Aiden let alone spelling it a different way

I'm not saying anything against Aiden at all! I considered it as a middle name for Caleb, actually. But stupid spellings are not only stupid, they're confusing. I used to work at a daycare and I can tell you that the 50 different Aidens all had "different" spellings. It's not original, it's not cute and it's not "kr8tif".

I would use Liam.

Aiden is getting way to popular.
