Is your kid smart?

We all think our children are gifted lol, but are yours truly gifted? Be honest here. i think Jacob is just so amazing, but I have to be real with myself, not many people think he's amazing like I do, so I don't go around proclaiming his aewsomeness! Jake was evaluated before by some early intervention people, and he scored a year above on most levels, some only slightly above, and some right on. I like to think he's going to find the cure for AIDS one day, but chances are, he will jsut be an average joe lol.

so do you think your kid is exceptionally smart? Or is he average, like the rest of us lol?

Lol, I still have a hard time telling myself Jacob most likely is average lol. but then when he randomly runs straight into the wall, it reassures me of his geniousness lol.

I think my kid is just above average. She is not the smartest, but I think she is pretty damn smart LOL But that is also comparing it to myself who did not talk until 4, and had a hard time reading until I was in the 4th grade. To see her everyday progressing so much at 6, it is amazing!

I'm not going to say my son is a child prodigy but his dad pretty much was. My son is just like his dad was at his age. It's too early too really tell but my MIL thinks my son will be smarter than average.

My doctor told me seth has the vocabulray of a 3 1/2 year old and he is 2 1/2. He said that was really good considering boys sometimes are behind verbally. But I in no way think he is gonna be einstein. But he is really smart and loves to figure things out. Maddie seems average so far. I think my oldest daughter is way to smart for her own good. Many people comment about how smart she is, but my second daughter on the other hand...her pedi thinks she might be a tad bit behind! Weird huh?

4444 ran into the wall two days ago, and fell flat backwards. I laughed so hard at him   I know that's mean. He cried, not because he got hurt but because I was laughing at him...hahaha.

He was walking toward the fridge, and looking back at me, and SMACK right into the wall.

My daughter seems right on schedule. So average I would say.

although she knows her birthday and colors at 2 & 1/2

he's def. not above.
i want to say he's more below than right at normal.
i mean he is nearing 20 mths and im lucky to get a word out of him that isn't in baby chinese. most kids his age have like a big list of vocabulary. not mine! but love it. im all for NOT rushing kids growing up. i like em to stay FAT BABIES [ ]forevurrrrr.
