Getting the H1N1 vaccine while pregnant.

I got the H1N1 vaccine on Friday. they told me they had a special one for pregnant women that doesn't have preservatives in it. I'm now thinking I shouldn't have even had it because this morning I woke up feeling really nauseous, dizzy and weak. I'm not sure if it's just me not feeling well or if they're symptoms of the vaccine... I've tried checking online but didn't find any answers. all of these websites say different things about the vaccine. have any of you had the vaccine (pregnant women) and had any symptoms? did your ob/gym suggest you get the vaccine?

Call the doctor and let them know.

I got it last Wednesday, I've been fine.

My doctor recommended it to me but I denied it. Hope you feel better soon!

I was totally against getting it at first but decided since they have it at my Dr's office I might as well get it. I would call your Dr and tell them. Although its an inactive virus and made the same as the seasonal flu it could be a reaction to it.

I got it Thursday and my OB highly recommended it because she considers me high risk. I have been feeling really nauseous and having headaches. not sure if its the pregnancy or side affects. if it gets worse im going to call them.

It could also be a normal part of your pregnancy I felt a little neasous and had headaches for awhile during the first and 2nd trimester.

I got it Friday, felt like shit all day, but she highly recommended it. trust me better safe then sorry

i was feeling nauseous before i got it but then after it hit me really hard. the headaches got a lot worse too. it might just be my hormones rising but man does it suck.

I had it last week and feel fine. I would just call the Doctor and touch base with him/her and let them know. Also just make sure you monitor you temperature closely that is the main thing they like to watch. Good luck and I hope you start to feel better. Usually reactions happen within minutes to hours of having the shot.

My OB highly recommended I get it, so its almost been 2 weeks since getting it. My OB said it takes 2 weeks for the vaccine to take full effect. My husband & 11 month old daughter just got vaccinated today so their 2 weeks time will be done before my 2nd daughter is here on the 19th. I had no side effects, just the normal ones, which I always get with shots..the sore arm was all.

I had my weekly doc appointment today and asked my doc about it. He said it was probably just a stomach bug or the baby pushing against my intestines/stomach that made me sick.

you'd better go to see a doctor ,the Obstetricians and gynecologists will tell how to do when pregnancy with vaccine ,how to cope this?
