Labor Story

It all started on Friday nightwhen I was having contractions 10 min. apart of and on andI tried to go to bed at 12:00 but I couldnt sleep because I couldnt get comfortable and I kept on waking up to pee so I woke up around 4ish. All day saturday I was having10 min. contractions but they never went away they were constant and I was trying to time them but they never got closer. So it was getting late from watching scary movies at my moms house and me and hubby got home and I jumped in the tub so I could get a good nights rest without any disturbances( like waking up 10 million times a night to pee). I got out of the tub and I fell into a deep sleep for about 20 min. and I suddenly felt a pop and my whole body twinged and I woke up and ran to the bathroom. Hubby saw and he immediately called my mom. When my mom finally came to pick us up I was then having contractions 3-5 min. apart . We drive to the hospital and we get admitted to our room.





They checked my cervix I was dialted to a 4 so I asked them if I could getthe Epibut they told me I couldnt because they had to talk to my doctor and get blood samples to get tested. Well they took my blood and ran it to the lab. I once again asked for epi once again and they told me I couldnt get it until they get the results back from the lab which were going to take about 30 min. SO I asked them for anything to at least help with the pain and they gave me some stuff that was like morphine but it only lasted for about 30 min. and I started getting painful contractions again. They ended up checking me and and within that 30 min. of waiting for my blood results i wentfrom 4 cm to 8.

Everyone was scattered everywhere. The doctors were getting everything ready. While I was waiting on my doc. the contractions got worse to the point where I felt I needed to push within 10 min the doctor showed up and then within 15 long pushes baby madelynn made her way into this world on nov. 1st at 1:53 am... just making it to Nov. 1st. She was 5 pounds 8 oz and 18 1/2 inches long of perfection.











They said the reason why I went into labor so fast was because my BP was inducing it.. thats why I dialated so fast.

It sure was painful but it was soooo worth it.

Better today then yesterday. I walked for the first time today... it was very jell-oy like. My BP is still flucuating though.

Thats great and good that your walking around now. What are they going to do about your BP?
