contractions

last night around midnight I started having actual contractions doubled me over couldn't sleep crying they were regular and getting close together I thought it was finally time then stopped, still having them but sporadically. any reason why this could be?

because mother nature is mean and likes to tease us.

i had the same thing. i had them every 10 minutes for like 3 days. The night before i had them they basically stopped for like every 30- an hour. the next morning when i woke up i was having them and went to the hospital and i was 4 cm. not really sure why it happens, but for me, i guess it was a signal that he was coming?

39 weeks and one day. I am on bed rest for gestational hypertension.

oh no not you too....I was due for October 30 as you can see..and all of you November mommas are beating me to it..this is so not fair. Sorry I am an emotional wreck right about now...

well they stopped for now.   My sister was the same way she was induced at 41 weeks.
