pregnant too soon

ok... so i was on the mini pill and still breastfeeding my almost 6 month old.. i just found out im preggo again... me and my boyfriend are both shocked and trying 2 decide if we are really prepared to have a 13 month old and a newborn. i am so worried.. anyone else in this s ame situation and how did u handle i

I haven't personally been through it but I have a friend who was. She had a hard time at first because she still had a baby when the second was born but the first one will get old enough where it's not so hard and the nice thing about having close kids is they both nap around the same times so you will get rest and they will be closer as siblings. It may seem scary at the time but when you prepare yourself and get through the next 9 to 10 months you will be ok. My mother in law had two boys that were around that amount apart and she had 6 kids all together you just deal with it and enjoy your babies, don't make the first grow up too fast, allow the first to continue to have all the baby things and everything will be ok. Good luck mama, I know you will do just fine, the reason we panick especially when they are close like this is because it's hard to see the current baby being older when the next one comes along or project into the future to see what it'll be like but things will turn out ok.

i was my daughter was 4 days away from being 13 months old when our 2nd was born,...and our 2nd was 17 months old when our 3rd was born,...we planned it, i thin its easier this way honestly but i dont know any other way but we love it its exciting and theres never a boring moment in our house thats for sure.

Mine are almost 14 months apart. It sucks in the beginning but it's getting easier. Some days are bad and some days are just fine.

I have 2 sisters that their first two babies are like 10 months apart. They loved it. According to them it makes things easier. Same nap time, same feeding time, etc....... I taken long visits with them and its really not that bad...

my new baby is due on my daughters due date so they will be almost exactly a year old.

Thanks for all your feedback..  It is very scary when I think about having 2 babies at home, but seeing that others have done it and it doesn't seems so bad that makes me feel much better.  I'm sure in the beginning it will be hard, but at least they will be close in age and will be able to keep each other company as they get older.  I appreciate all the replies!!!
