re: concerned about my son,dr isnt helping!

Quoting mommyof2grls:“ my gracie did the same. She is 3 and tiny and still no milk products. I agree with bellas mom i would demand answers.”

I am hoping she will grow out of it as she gets older. They say it is common with premmies. Milk proteins are on of the hardest to digest and their digestive system just can't brake them down since it is 't fully developed. We plan to try her on regular formula at about 7 months just to see how she does.

I definately agree with Kat and Bellas Mommy as far as sitting him upright while feeding, burping him halfway through the bottle, and keeping him in an upright position after feedings for half an hour to an hour!

I had the same experience with Aariyanah, she was born at 33 weeks and when I would take her to the dr they woud say the same thing...that nothing was wrong and that it was normal for her to spit up alot. And I kept thinking this cant be normal for my child to be spitting up alllll the time and for it to come out of her nose and choke her!!! My mom and I searched online and came to the conclusion that it was reflux and it was due to her being a preemie. As long as hes gaining weight he should be fine...Aari is now 4 months old and doing GREAT! She outgrew the reflux and is now up to 12lbs 4oz from her birth weight of 3lb 12oz!!! I wish you all the luck in the world and hope your lil buddy gets better soon!
