LO seeing mom/dad naked?

SO and I were talking about this today... So, Ava is 10 months, and whenever she happens to see her Dadda naked, she immediatly looks down/up at his peep.

lol, she noticed it at some point, and now she knows its different, or wierd, or whatever, and tries to look at it when he's nude, so we've made the decision that he should probably not be naked around her anymore.

Im curious how other moms feel about this? if there would be a difference in baby boy seeing mom naked, or girl seeing dad naked? or girl and her mom, boy and his dad, for you guys?

And if you didstop it, at what age did you do that?

There's nothing wrong with noticing differences between the sexes.. We just started to cover up around the kids once they were able to talk about it and ask questions. We answer the question once and then go about everything normally and cover up in the future.

my daughter is almost 14 months. We decided to stop too, since we were all in the shower and it looked like she was comparing our parts lol. She tugs on his too and pokes it lol I used to see a prob, but dont any mroe. Not like she sees him naked much anyway

Jacks 6 months and I still shower with him in the room.I'll stop once he ask why I'm different.

I don't plan on letting my son see me naked. My parents never let me see them naked and I always knew that being naked was a private thing. I want my son to be the same.

There should be NO difference. Everyone is born naked. Everyone has those parts. To act like it's "weird" because your child has a natural curiosity about the human body will do nothing but cause problems later on down the line. Just tell her(yes, even at 10 months old) that that is daddys penis and boys have a penis and girls have a vagina....and leave it at that until she asks more about it.

Don't worry about trying to "hide" it from her. It will just lead her to believe there is something wrong or shameful about nudity.

There's nothing wrong with her being curious and trying to shelter her from privates is going to make it even more of a huge deal for her. . . .
If you just leave her be, she will be less likely to be "curious" when she becomes of school age because privates were not made a big deal when she was growing up.

Brycen showers with both of us still and the most he ever does if point to pubes and says "ewww, mama poop" because he thinks I have poop on my pee pee  

and he likes to hold his hair-rinsing cup under my husbands balls in the shower because thats where the water runs down my husband.

i always seen my parentsnaked, esp my mother..i don't see a problem, it's natural

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. It's not in a sexual manner, just that she's noticing the difference and that's OK! My son's 2.5 and I showered with him this evening. No big deal.

I don't think it is a big deal. My DH takes showers with us occasionally and Isla is 14 months. She doesn't really notice anything about him being naked because we don't make a big deal out of it. To us it isn't an issue currently. She's more interested in the water coming out of the shower and trying to pull my hair or poke me in the eyes, lol.

Why?
Just tell him you're a girl and those are girl parts and he's a boy and he has boy part. Daddys a boy and he has boy parts, etc.
It shouldnt be made into a big secretive deal just because he's curious. Inform him.

Just curiosity. Don't hide such things from her. It's how she learns about her body and the differences between us girls and boys
