re: I feel like I'm failing already

dont worry about having the best,name brand,or new outta the box stuff for the baby,the baby will love you no matter what =)...all the clothes we have i got from yardsales..we worry too about not having enough money for this and that,i think that all first time mommies go thru that...everything has a way of working itself out..so dont stress momma!

Don't forget ebay (or craigslist). I've bought a few "lots" of clothing there and have found some great deals! A lot of people get so excited over having a baby they buy tons of clothes, and the baby grows so fast they never get used... Then they turn around and sell it on ebay for practically nothing. Also, I'm not familiar with your area but I know Marshall's has some really good deals on clothing and they usually have a few other small baby items too. Also check out "Once Upon A Child" if there is one in your area, they carry lots of second hand furniture, toys, and clothing at reasonable prices. Someone also suggested Goodwill to me as well but I haven't checked that out yet.

As long as you've got the essentials (food, diapers, somewhere to sleep, and lots of love!), you'll be just fine
