Weird bleeding on Mirena

I have an Gyno appt on Tuesday, thankfully. But here's the issue..

I'm still bleeding on the Mirena, have been ever since I got it inserted on September 18th. FML. Anyways, the bleeding is now really, really dark and slightly heavier than spotting. Now, this might be TMI, but EVERYtime I have sex, I bleed BRIGHT red blood. is this normal, or should I be concerned? The bright red blood is more than spotting.. I feel like maybe my cervical tears aren't healed completely and sex makes me tear some.. or maybe the IUD is hitting something bad???

maybe just call to make sure nothings wrong. it could have moved or something and in a wrong position.

I have Mirena, my gyno told me bleeding for up to three months is normal...I had the dark spotting for about a month

I also have the Mirena and I've basically been bleeding ever since I've had it... maybe only going two weeks at a time without bleeding and I've had it since April.

I have had the mirena since last December and I bled for 4 months but the last 2 months was more like spotting. Now the sex part i have no clue.My SO and I dont really have sex any more and i cant remember the last time that we did, its pretty sad   Do you have any cramping?

My cervix ripped and mine didnt heal like they thought.. Uggh birth control sucks... My period is so out of wack.. i bleed like 90 percent of the month.! have you tried the shot yeT?

DON'T DO IT!!! I had it for almost two years and it was horrrible on my body!

Im sticking with my IUD, no worries lol. But I am going to get my cervix checked & my OB is prescribing me some hormonal pill to stop the bleeding

Okay good!  I HATE when I hear people do the Depo..

Well let me know what she says!~ lol I've been following your Mirena experience and it makes me kinda nervous to get it now.. buuut I think I can deal versus getting preggo again

it must be normal! cuz i have the mirena and its doing the same EXACT samething as you .. and also i get weird like cramping in my uterus .. does that happen to you too?

YEAH ME TOO... I HEARD U CAN GET SIS ON UR OVARIES FROM IT SO THAT FREAKS ME OUT

I have had it since April and I just stopped constant bleeding. My sister has it and it took her 6 months. And I get my "period" maybe once every 4 mos. I can feel it is my period by the way my body is. I am still up in the air about the whole thing, but hey, I haven't gotten prego yet, so it is doing its job!!
