how old to have baby food meat?

How old does an infant need to be to have baby food meat?


My wic gave us 31 one jars of baby food meat for this month ( son is 7months )

I did give him like 2 jars of it and then i had a friend say they arent supposed to have them till like 9months??

I was told 8 months.

I started my son at 7 months but I am only giving him chicken for now.

Mama knows best, but my pedi says 6 months is fine. Everything in moderation.

My son is 9 months and on WIC too...but we don't get the meat   I have to buy it seperately. But 8-9 months is about average, when they start developing the digestive enzynmes for it. Just keep getting it and save it for when he's that age, that's what I would do.

wow thats good that you get meat, my wic only says fruit or veggies
