Whyyy *Maybe TMI*

I'm BFing and the almost 10 months since my son was born- I've only had about 3 periods. I just got my third period less then three weeks ago and now I'm bleeding again. Just a tiny bit but when I wipe it's a little pink. I've noticed it for a couple days. Ugh. And I've had light cramps. This is stupid. Maybe it's time to get back on BC to regulate everything.

that sounds great to me lol..im almost 10 weeks pp and I still haven't gotten a period and im not BF so I dont know whats up with that.

I would say you are pregnant! Take a test.

im BFing also but have been getting super light periods since 2months ago...sucks!

yeah bf doesn't prevent pregnancy, but it does act as a natural form of birth control. it's only considered 80% effective, but it will affect your periods and whatnot. I would ask your obgyn if you're worried. . . birth control will affect your breastmilk to, so you may want to take that into consideration. . . ? good luck .

Ohhhh no. There's no way I'm preggo. I use condoms and the boyfriend had cancer and went through chemo. He hasn't had his sperm tested but the doctor already had a discussion with him. So I'm like 110% sure I'm not pregnant.

I just think it's like my periods are trying to come back to normal. I was hopeful it wouldn't happen for at least a year because of the BFing but guess that's not the case. It just sucks that it hasn't even been three weeks and its back! Bleh! I hate getting periods.

That's actually why I'm not taking birth control. The only birth control pill- the low dose one just makes me bleed and bleed.

Anyone know if I can get the paraguard and still BF? I haven't thought about birth control in a long time.

The last book I read said that an IUD is the least likely to affect your hormones while bf-ing. So yeah, if you think that's a good option for you, doooooo ittttt
